Mas o que o garoto não sabia é que a garota só fez aquelas perguntas à ele para poder ouvir ele dizer aquelas coisas uma última vez, e ela só terminou com ele porque ela só tinha mais três semanas de vida e pensou que assim causaria menos dor à ele, dando um tempo para ele esquecê-la antes dela morrer.
